We made it to the Farmer’s Market today. Got a late start, though. Out of broccoli rabe, arugula, asparagus. You really have to be there when they open to get what you want.
I love the community feeling…people with their dogs – the long-haired daschund, shaggy dogs, Rhodesian ridgeback, well-behaved labradors, pretty shelties.
The food. The good fried green tomato lady wasn’t there. The other fried green tomato vendor lets the tomatoes sit in grease. The way you can tell is the good fried green tomato lady serves hers with a lime basil sauce or wasabi sauce.
Great coffee. Have a Latte.
