Remembering Haku

I’m going through my photo archives to try to put together a cohesive body of work for the photography class I’m taking. It’s going to take a while as I sit around remembering making each photo. It’s hard to detach from one’s photos.

Here’s a shot of Haku when he first arrived at our door. He had heartworm, hookworm and tapeworm. The poor guy was dying and was looking for someone to save him.

Here he is a year later. We fattened him up and he made our life richer. We lost him to Cushing Disesase last year and we miss him still.
